KEEPING TRADITION ALIVE
TRADITION
Stretching back over thousands of years, the legendary narrative of honey mead has permeated through an array of cultures, legends and civilisations – imbuing them with its divine kiss.
In the Ancient Nordic Edda, old tales recount of the fabled Mead of Suttungr (mead of Poetry in our tongue), which bestows the drinker with unfathomable knowledge and limitless poetic inspiration – from our experiences, we invite you to find out for yourself.
HISTORY
Long before there was wine made from grapes, honey mead was made from the honeycombs of bee colonies to be enjoyed by: Germans, Sumerians, Greeks and Romans alike.
Prevalently believed to be the oldest alcoholic drink in the world, boasting a history that dates back over 3,000 years, the juxtaposition of the warmth it brings with the unforgiving cold of Nordic winters led to its affectionate nick-name...
ELEGANCE
The defining feature of our honey mead is the elegance in its simplicity. Across our line of products, we boast a mere two fundamental ingredients in our fermentation process – the matrimonial union of our naturally pure honey with a vivacious addition of water.
All our meads are naturally flavoured using fresh juices or extracts, bestowing the crisp, pristine flavour that you love.
STUNNING
Besides its stunning flavour and legendary story, honey mead has also long been acknowledged to carry a vast array of health benefits.
Research indicates that honey mead promotes a good appetite, digestion, to cleanse and strengthen the stomach and remove any unhealthy substances from your gut. Providing a strong foundation for our family of warriors, who knew that boosting your health could taste so good?
